1) Do you agree with the editors of your textbook that Blake's poetry had the power to enact social change by appealing to the imagination of the reader?
I do believe Blake's poetry had a lot imagination but not enough to enact social change. People would probably believe his poetry was just his opinion weather it was fact or friction you become emotionally tied to a topic of such nature and you tend to add in your two cent. Therefore others might think your going too hard or its just not enough, but for those who do agree with you might not want to go as far as to social change because they might be thinking there's not enough support just from him and his poetry.
2) Why might the editors have included the Parliament transcript as a primary source document? How did it affect your reading of Blake's work?
The editors may have included and Parliament transcript as a primary source document so you could see how real Blake's poetry actually was the transcript gave Blake's poetry and extra push if he was really trying to go forward with social change. The transcript gave real life situations, emotions, reactions, and actions. It effected Blake's work because it showed that Blake was indeed on point with the information in his poem. It would also keep you wanting to read more of his working knowing that it was actually true and dependable source.

Swift's Gulliver' Travels
1) Why was Gulliver tied up in the town of the lilliputs?
Why didn't Gulliver try to escape ?
Do you believe someone was trying to punish Gulliver?
Did the lilliputs find Gulliver or did they take him and tie him up?
I chose these because these were the questions that came up in my mind and also some of my group members.
2) My teacher group was a success although we didn't get much done, we decided to make a chart based on society and the questions we came up with to ask the class. Not everyone had much to say or much input, but we were all on the same page because we someone threw up a suggest we all agreed. We work well together and taught each other somethings meaning we would do a good job at teaching a class.
3) I think our group will take the same approach because it worked! It went well and worked together we had enough information on our topic to fill our chart and teach a group of students .

The role that the doctrine O'Brein proclaims to Winston in the passage is that of the one he portrays. The role that goes against the system and what everyone is accustom to. Winston was one to not bite his thoughts but knew how to stay in rank and bite his tongue. He might not have agreed with the style of living or Government ruling, but he stayed in tack. Winston was strong minded and did as he pleased he did things he was not suppose to done and felt emotions that were too complicated for Big Brothers likings. Winston was smart and knew how things worked and still went about going against and ending up with a fate that you never thought would take place.
Winston knew things that most people didn't know or would not let Big Brother take away the things that people once knew. Winston would remember family memories and and past events, he wanted to feel every emotion in it entirety. He did not want to lack in any area. When it came to sexually relations he believe that Big Brother would eventually make it to where as though you only became sexual to reproduce nothing more. Winston like the way it felt and didn't want to lose that feel or forget so we slept with anyone no matter who they were as long as he felt that emotion.
Winston would never out right disagree with the government, but in his mind he hated it all including Big brother. He was the opposite of everything about the government. He knew not to say a word because the things he put people through could easily become him. He worked for Big Brother as a party member where he rewrote history and kept things in order. Whatever the party said was right it became golden everyone was to believe it, if you were to disagree or seem to brilliant for the environment or would no longer exist. You could either be a rewrite on an unperson. Winston had seen it done before to a man who was a great success as a party member but he bad deeds could not be remembered so they renamed him. Winston knew when someone just wouldn't last, just would not fit in and not too long after they just vanished. Winston kept a low profile and tired to remain in secret in order to live.
Winston fell in love. Love was not a factor. Love was not acceptable. Finally they caught up to Winston. He was lock up and put to the test. I believe they wanted to save Winston. They tried to make him see the way things the way they were suppose to be and show him how things would be. The way Winston was was living was beyond wrong he would have to change willingly or not. I believe Winston mine as well be dead he is no longer himself and he agrees with the law and loves Big Brother. He didn't care for others anymore and truly became his worst nightmare. He would have been better off dead than someone he didn't believe in at one point.
